The end of the Chrysler Series

Last night was the last performance of Summer Guthery's Chrysler Series. I played a piece composed from recordings of the building inside and out. There was also a reading of The Wonderful Musician by the Brothers Grimm-read by the incomparable Isla Leaver-Yap, and a preview of the soundtrack that I just finished for Cameron Gainer's film, LUNA DEL MAR. In the spirit of endings, I'm posting the blog entries about the first event which happened a year ago. I had the enormous privilege of opening and closing the series. Thanks to Summer Guthery for her hard work.

Here's Dan Fox's piece:

and something else I found:

thanks to both of them for documenting that night.

I'll be posting some sound and video from the event when I get back from Marfa, Texas.
