Amy, Tiger, and the Tree

Pavilion Leeds: TV Studio, Roger Stevens Building, TV Courtyard, Willow Terrace, University of Leeds, Leeds, LS2 9JT
Thu, 11/01/2012 (All day)

The event takes place in a de-commissioned TV studio in the post-war Roger Stevens Building, part of the University of Leeds, the site of Céline Condorelli’s Additionals, a series of sculptures appearing in installation, in film and in text. The exhibition marks the end of Condorelli’s journey (as Tiger) in a collective experiment framed by British avant-garde composer Cornelius Cardew’s 1967 score The Tiger’s Mind. The group used Cardew’s score as a means of production, a process that was instigated by Will Holder (as Amy) and Beatrice Gibson (as Circle) and involved John Tilbury (as Mind), Alex Waterman (as Tree) and Jesse Ash (as Wind).
